Savusavu is on the south coast of Vanua Levu island. The township has several ‘super markets’, restaurants/cafes, pharmacy, private doctor, hospital, hotels and general stores with a large local market. It is a good place to have a boat.
It can be reached by plane either direct from Nadi or Suva (Pacific Link – domestic arm of Fiji Airways) or via Labasa on the north coast of the island followed by 1-2 hours scenic road drive over the mountains to Savusavu by taxi.
Several ferry/bus links service Savusavu on a daily basis from the main island of Viti Levu.
